The Barn at Meriam Park
The Barn at Meriam Park in Chico, CA, is a unique and versatile event venue that combines rustic charm with modern amenities. Located in the heart of Meriam Park, this event venue features a century old barn that exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations. The Barn's spacious interior, adorned with exposed wooden beams and Edison light bulbs, can be customized to suit any event style. Outside, the lush lawn area offers a picturesque setting for outdoor ceremonies and receptions. With its blend of natural beauty and contemporary comfort, The Barn at Meriam Park provides an unforgettable backdrop for any occasion.
Our spacious barn, covering 5,000 square feet, can host between 300 to 500 guests based on your chosen seating and table configurations. The rental fee is $3,500 for weekday events and $6,000 for weekend events, including Fridays. The rental includes:
5,000 square foot historic barn.
3,000 square foot lawn area.
12’ x 16’ stage and stage lighting.
String and accent lighting.
Misting system for hot days or 15 heat lamps for cooler evenings (propane is an additional fee).
Trash receptacles are provided along with guest service personnel to ensure they are emptied regularly during the event.
Three fully equipped air-conditioned restrooms stocked with ample toiletries. One restroom is ADA-compliant and features a baby changing station.
The Barn also includes seating options if desired. Ten three-bench round fiberglass patio tables, nine six-foot fiberglass picnic tables, nine 29” round metal tables, ten 37” square metal tables, and 60 chairs.
Ample free parking.
Beer and wine available (additional fee).
Sound system and Sound Engineer available (additional fee).
Catering is not included, but we are happy to recommend several vendors.
Onsite lodging is available, along with restaurants and bars perfect for rehearsal dinners and gatherings. Guests can also enjoy onsite spa services including spray tanning, manicures, and pedicures.
