About: Thunder Lump is Rock/Funk/Soul Fusion Band based in Oroville/Chico,  California. Starting out as a Solo artist in 2013, Band Leader and Song Writer Roberto Pomart eventually met Drummer Reid Givens in 2017 while Roberto hosted an Open Mic in downtown Chico, CA.  Givens joined a project Roberto was already involved in at the time. Eventually after creative differences with other members of that project, Reid quit and Roberto followed suit not long after. At the time Roberto was using Thunder Lump as his solo stage name but wanting to take the songs He wrote and form a full band around the material. He reached out to Reid to fill the Drum slot, eventually recruiting long time friend Cory Russel on Bass guitar. The decision was made to run with Thunder Lump  as the Band name and the rest is history.  We've added Gabe Poole on Lead Guitar and  percussionist Sandy Trotamundos to the line up recently. We also Have Daniela Lopez on Sax when available.
