About: Chico California five piece acoustic supergroup, Uptown Underground featuring the Folk/Rock/Blues songs and stylings of Doug Stein - vocal and guitar (Low Flying Birds/Swamp Zen) backing Doug are Jam Rock legends Saul Henson - lead guitar (Electric Circus), Snake Holmes - Bass (Danny West) Raven Anne Winston - Fiddle (Black Fong), and Miguel del Mundo - vocals, harp, percussion (Black Fong).

The Uptown Underground sound is reminiscent of early Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Neil Young with a down home yet sophisticated feel.
