About: Whiskey River is a 5-piece country band comprised of local musicians who have played in this area for years! Four members previously played with twice “Best of Chico” The DefCats. Shawn Bentley fronts the band as lead singer, Aaron Lyon rips on the electric guitar, and Pat Haley is killer on banjo, dobro, guitar and slide guitar. Ron Relf on drums and Dan Holmes on bass hold down the rhythm section of the band and keeps things thumpin.’ Finally Gene “The Sound Machine” Kemper completes the band as sound engineer. WRB plays the new rockn’ country music with a splash of classic rock'n'roll on the side. All the country music you currently hear and sing to on the radio! It’s toe tappin’ dance music for those of all ages! Bring your family, friends and neighbors for a great time...not a lot of bands play their mix of cover music and the harmonies will knock your socks off!
